Tasting notes
The nose is like smoking a good cigar with a basket of red fruit on the table, close at hand. Medium-bodied, soft, silky, and fresh, with just enough sweet citrus in the finish to make it interesting. Drink from 2024-2035.

The 2021 Larrivaux has an understated but composed bouquet: blackberry, wild hedgerow, light cedar and cigar smoke aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh entry and fine acidity, quite sapid. There is not enormous depth here, but it skips along nicely and has an easy-drinking, crisp finish.
This is showing aromas of cloves, cedar, mulberries and cherries. Chewy and firm on the palate with a medium body but with a fresh finish. Drink in 2025.
The 2021 Larrivaux has a well-defined, nicely detailed yet understated bouquet with brambly black fruit laced with tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of piquancy on the entry, fine depth and grip with graphite infused black fruit towards the finish. This should age nicely in bottle.
