Tasting notes
Darker berries, spicy wood, graphite, and smoky notes all shine in the 2022 Château Tour Des Termes. It's medium-bodied with a nicely concentrated, rich, borderline rustic mouthfeel and solid length. This satisfying Saint-Estèphe will keep for a decade. Drink 2025-2035.

The 2022 Tour des Termes has a bright and vivid bouquet of brambly red fruit, cedar and light earthy scents. This wine has real get-up-and-go. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins that are supple and lithe, pure fruit and a lightly spiced, very harmonious finish. Excellent!
Cru bourgeois supérieur. 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, on two-thirds gravel and one-third clay-limestone. Yield 25 hl/ha. Aged for 15 months in Allier oak barrels (50% new). Very dark indeed. Oak is a little dominant. Just a bit exaggerated now though I’m sure it will calm down eventually. (JR)
