Tasting notes
Moulin de Duhart is the Merlot-dominant second wine to Duhart-Milon. It is a fantastically appealing wine in 2022, approachable with bursting fruit – ripe black plum – that’s beautifully balanced by good levels of freshness and fine, integrated tannins. This is not overly complex but hugely enjoyable and can be drunk in its relative youth. Blend: 87% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2022 Moulin de Duhart has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of sweet raspberries, cherries, rose petals and lilac. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, it's sweet, supple and fleshy, animated by mouthwatering acids.
The 2022 Moulin De Duhart offers classic Pauillac character, with cassis, graphite, smoked tobacco, and ripe black cherries. Medium to full-bodied, it’s pure and polished, with beautiful tannins and an incredibly elegant style for a second wine.
The 2022 Moulin de Duhart has a light, open, well-defined bouquet that's quite airy and floral, with red cherries and crushed strawberry aromas mingling in the glass. The palate has a pleasing fleshiness due to reduced Cabernet Sauvignon (13%). It's very fresh, with slightly chalky tannins and moderate length. This is a fine Moulin de Duhart to enjoy over the next decade.
