Tasting notes
Juicy, measured, well judged with Left Bank personality and tannins that have been slimmed down to an elegant expression. Enjoyable, spicy and grilled but not overdone, good dark damson and berry fruits with plenty of grip, no need to wait too long. Treasury Wine Estates. Last vintage as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel.

The 2022 Chateau Cambon La Pelouse is a medium-bodied, elegant wine that holds onto a good sense of freshness in the vintage. Offering ample red, blue, and black fruits, it has some background oak, fine tannins, and a solid finish. It's beautifully made and should be a good value as well.
Inky damson, lovely glass-staining ruby very much in keeping with the vintage, this is enjoyable, well worked sleek tannins, no trace of hard edges here, a little overworked perhaps but a crowd pleaser with good density to the fruit and smoked oak on the finish. Treasury Wine Estates.
The 2022 Cambon La Pelouse is packed with dark-toned fruit, new leather, incense, licorice, tobacco and chocolate. Fleshy and opulent, the 2022 offers plenty of immediacy in a decidedly bombastic style.
