The 2022 Calicem has turned out very well with the élevage. Revealing a fresh, delicate, and complex bouquet of dark wild berries, flowers, iris, dark cherries and cassis, it's medium to full-bodied, enrobing and layered with a fleshy core of fruit, velvety tannins and bright acids that lead to a long, penetrating finish. Entirely crafted from Merlot, this is a real success.
This is appetizingly mineral with warm stones, fresh berries, cherries and white pepper. Juicy and precise, this has chalky tannins that offer tension and resolved power. Long and effortless. Simply delicious. This shows innate balance that makes it easy to enjoy. Drink now or hold.
Rich and opulent. Pure chocolate. Lots of round tannins and ripe, wild fruit like mulberries and plums. Full and layered. Fermented in upright barrels. Aged in 500 liter barrels.
