Tasting notes
The 2022 Doisy-Daëne Grand Vin Sec has a bold nose with expressive tropical scents, grapefruit and limoncello aromas that gain intensity with aeration. The palate is balanced with good weight, a little minty in style, a dab of tangy grapefruit towards the finish and stem ginger tingling on the aftertaste. Tasted blind at the Southwold tasting in London.

Diam 10 closure. Tasted blind. Light, candified nose and sharp acidity. Certainly not heavy and a little mineral/smoky on the persistent end. Sleek. (JR)
Dried mangoes and persimmons with dried flowers and exotic spices. Full with vivid acidity and an attractive spicy edge. Long with beautiful fruit.
About the producer

This Second Growth estate has origins dating back to the late 1800s. It is, however, under the ownership of the Dubourdieu family – who took over the Barsac property in 1924 – that Ch. Doisy-Daëne truly flourished.
