The blend is 2017 BriO de Cantenac Brown is quite juicy and forward, with generous red berry, floral and spice notes. Plush in feel, with silky tannins, the BriO is a delicious second wine from Cantenac Brown that will drink well with minimal cellaring. The blend is 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc.
The second label of Cantenac Brown is a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Brio de Cantenac Brown has expressive notes of crushed black cherries, blackberries and black raspberries with hints of smoked meats, cinnamon stick and toast. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh, plush and juicy with loads of red and black fruits and a spicy kick to the finish.
About the producer

Tristan le Lous purchased this Third Growth in 2019, keeping on José Sanfins on as director. There has been significant work in the vineyards here, with a sustainable, organic approach across the 48 hectares.
