Score 92/100 · Drink 2021-2037, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Oct 2021

The 2017 Val de Loire Grolleau is intense and finely reductive on the more bloody and concentrated nose that offers dark, black fruit with tobacco and leathery flavors. Silky-textured, round and sweet on the palate, this is a generous, more animal but pure and refreshing Grolleau with a ripe but crunchy tannin structure. Long and intense, with a silky-textured juiciness and good vitality. Generous. Warm. Excellent. Tasted at the domaine in June 2021.
