Morey's small cuvée of 2019 Meursault Les Durots is showing very nicely, mingling aromas of smoky berries and plums with hints of dark chocolate and forest floor. Medium-bodied, lively and precise, it's fine-boned and elegant. It's well worth seeking out.

The 2019 Meursault Les Durots Rouge, matured in 30% new oak, was showing a little reduction on the nose that made it difficult to read. The palate is medium-bodied, quite burly for a red Meursault, with good depth, a mixture of red and black fruit and a slightly grainy texture toward the finish. Just maybe missing a bit of spark.
