Monopole. Mid ruby. Less developed and reticent in comparison with the Champ de Cour of the same vintage. There is plenty of mid-palate bulk and fruit, but this probably needs more air and a decant will do no harm. (MH)

The 2017 Moulin-à-Vent Le Clos du Moulin-à-Vent from Domaine Labruyère exhibits a rich bouquet of spices, berry fruit, potpourri and grilled meats, gently framed by a touch of new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with powdery tannins and a rich, sapid finish.
