Tasting notes
Very deep crimson. Great purity of blackberry and blueberry fruit on the nose and a little inky. Bags of blueberry fruit with savoury, salty notes on the finish. Full, long and distinct. (WS)

The 2020 Dolcetto d'Alba is fresh, bright and nicely lifted. In this vintage, the Dolcetto is aromatic and medium in body. The combination of the year and a stylistic shift yielded an especially classic Dolcetto that will come as a shock to anyone who has been following the estate since the 2000s, give or take, when this wine was usually opulent and dense. Red cherry/plum and floral accents linger.
