2017 Barolo

The 2017 Barolo is a traditional blend sourced from Einaudi’s single vineyard holdings across the communes of Barolo, Verduno, and Monforte d’Alba. It displays ripe, savory aromas of dried plum, leather, and rosemary and has the concentration from the warmth of the vintage expressed with dried cherry fruit, balsamic, and walnut. As is true of many wines of the vintage, it has an approachability now though should develop over the next 15 years. Drink 2021-2036.
