2018 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

The 2018 Nobile di Montepulciano is dark and moody in the glass, wafting up with a mix of red and black currants, woodland herbs and hints of flowery undergrowth. Here I’m finding a soft and pure expression of red fruits and spice, motivated by saline-tinged acids and minerals that collect toward the close. It tapers off with medium length and lightly structured as inner violet florals slowly fade.
