Quite a bruiser! Big and beefy with some phenolic element on the end. Very different from classic Sancerre! Not a bad drink so long as you're not looking for an archetypal rendition. (JR)

The 2019 Sancerre Harmonie hails from vines that are more than 50 years old and treated with tender loving care that translates into the wine. The nose is a little shy with the merest note of nuttiness on the palate. This is not an aromatically expressive wine, offering delicate citrus, ripe apple and boxwood. There's gentle grip and fresh acidity on the finish. A restrained, harmonious, light-bodied wine that has richness built through the middle.
