Pale crimson. Scented and actually rather pretty on the nose. Very dry finish. Presumably this will take on flesh and find fruit to fill its currently very obvious frame. Wait! (JR)

Medium red. Aromas of currant, cranberry, menthol and pepper. Juicy and tightly wound but not hard; currently dominated by crushed stones and minerals, which cut off the fruit today. Finishes with substantial, slightly drying tannins.
