1993 Paleo Rosso

The 1993 Paleo Rosso impresses for its balance and personality. The integration of fruit, acidity and structural element is superb. Although the 1993 isn’t one of the biggest wines in this tasting it is without question one of the most expressive. Hints of game, dried flowers, earthiness and red stone fruits inform the powerful finish. There is an element of wildness that runs through the 1993, but not to the point of being overwhelming. This is an impressive early Paleo Rosso. The blend is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Sangiovese.
