Tasting notes
Unfortunately, both 2015 reds are lacking. The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a fresh, lively, under fruited effort that has a light, simple texture.

Although not that concentrated or long, the 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape is a ripe, easy-to-drink wine that shows touches of leather, clove and black cherries, along with a softly dusty finish.
(raised in foudres ) Ruby-red. Potent, mineral-laced red and dark berry and floral pastille aromas are complicated by suggestions of licorice and white pepper. Sweet and supple in texture, offering palate-caressing raspberry, cherry and spicecake flavors that display a blend of power and finesse. The floral and cherry notes linger on a long, penetrating finish that shows just a hint of fine-grained tannins.
