Tasting notes
Tremblay produced five barrels of the 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes, a wine that is especially successful this year. Wafting from the glass with notes of orange rind, raspberries, red plums, rose petals and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and sensual, its velvety structuring tannins entirely concealed by its ample core of bright, vibrant fruit.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru as a very airy bouquet, gentle an lilting red cherry and wild strawberry fruit with traces of wilted rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins that frame dark berry fruit laced with brown spices and a touch of white pepper. Fine build in the mouth, this Chambolle fans out gently but with assurance on the finish. Very classy.
Cask sample. Mid cherry; lovely elegance, on top of the juice, with ravishing purity. Lovely wine. (MH)
