Tasting notes
Broader and riper than the Thierry Pillot Porusot. Chewy texture, lots of core primary fruit that needs time to evolve. Classic nutty and stony persistence. (RH)

The 2019 Meursault Poruzots 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with notes of grilled walnut and almond, touches of nutmeg and smoke developing with continued aeration. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, hints of stem ginger and lemon sherbet, with a poised and open-knit finish. Excellent.
The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots opens in the glass with notes of pear, white flowers, crisp green apple, white currants and praline. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's bright and lively, with lovely mid-palate amplitude and a long, saline finish.
