Tasting notes
The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge has a lovely strawberry shortcake bouquet of fine definition; simple but charming. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red berry fruit, a fine bead of acidity and a pretty, lightly spiced finish. This will serve as a perfect introduction to Duroché. It was due for bottling in December 2019.

The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge soars from the glass with an inviting bouquet of wild berries, black truffles and rich soil tones. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, supple and enveloping, with tangy acids and a charming core of fruit.
About the producer

Domaine Duroché has, under Pierre Duroché, become one of the most sought-out and respected wine domaines in Gevrey-Chambertin. The wines are delicate and detailed, yet with old-vine intensity, a clear sense of place and style – and it’s easy to see why they’ve rapidly become so in-demand.
