Tasting notes
Notes of blackberries, cassis, sweet soil tones and spicy new oak introduce the 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village (Maison Louis Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy wine framed by youthfully chewy tannins that assert themselves on the finish.

The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village has a very tight bouquet at first, but that was due to it being pulled from barrel just before my tasting; it coalesces in the glass and gains delineation over 20–30 minutes. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannins, a fine bead of acidity and good precision on the finish. This punches above its weight. Recommended.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
