Attaining an impressive 12.8% natural alcohol, the 2021 Bourgogne Rouge offers up aromas of plums, sweet berries, petals and spices, followed by a medium-bodied, lively and concentrated palate framed by powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish. It's a generic bottling that will benefit from at least a modicum of bottle age, given its structured profile.
