Tasting notes
Quite a lot of apple and lemon curd on this one, but also some more subtle, minerally nuances. Medium to full body, a fleshy core of pithy citrus and stone fruit and some driving acidity. Gunpowder undertones to close. Drink now.

From old vines at the bottom of the Schlossberg that are picked a bit later (in early October) than Théo. Real electric tingle with lots of acidity. Saline and mineral but with an undertow of ripe fruit. Théo and Colette make a great contrasting pair. (JR)
Weinbach's 2017 Alsace Riesling Cuvée Colette is pure and flinty on the nose, with discreet tropical fruit aromas. Full-bodied and firmly structured on the palate, this is an intensely flavored, quite rich and persistent Riesling with stunningly good length. Tasted October 2018.
