Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2026-2044, Neal Martin, Dec 2021
The 2020 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a generous bouquet with red cherries, strawberry and light rose petal scents, maybe not quite as well defined as the Petits Monts. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, good structure with a solid, slightly sinewy finish. Fine, but robust and a little outclassed by some of the Chuerlin's other cuvées this year. Maybe it has something up its sleeve?
