Score 93-95/100 · Drink 2020-2040, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016
The 2015 Criots Batard Montrachet Haut Densite Grand Cru (planted at 24,000 vines per hectare!) is matured in a single nine-year-old barrel. It has a stellar bouquet with scents of apricot blossom, quince, minerals and white peach that is very seductive. The palate is well balanced with a creamy entry, sensual and harmonious, peach, dried apricot and a hint of creme brûlée—caressing and rich on the persistent finish. Superb, in fact, on par with the 2014 last year.
