The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Bousselottes 1er Cru is very concentrated on the nose, almost impenetrable, with black cherries, bilberry jam and an almost honeyed element. The palate is dense, with plenty of sinew and fine acidity. It’s powerful and perhaps beginning to close down. It will need considerable bottle age.

The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Bousselots 1er Cru has an enticing melange of red and black fruit, a touch of menthol in the background, focused and on the more opulent side. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, almost pastille-like in purity with commendable precision towards the finish. This is showing well at the moment.
