Score 89/100 · Drink 2013-2023, Robert Parker, Oct 2013
As for the blended proprietary reds, the 2010 Tempest (two-thirds Merlot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) displays rich notes of lead pencil shavings, mocha, jammy cherries, chocolate and spice. Plump, fleshy and medium to full-bodied, it is ideal for drinking over the next 7-10 years. Tel. (707) 967-0227
