2020 Chablis Montee de Tonnerre

The 2020 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru comes across quite reduced on the nose, the terroir difficult to see beneath the SO2. The palate is balanced but rather simple, slightly honeyed in texture, perhaps picked a little tardy and lacking tension as a result. Early-drinking. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
