2016 Coteaux du Languedoc La Peira Blanc

The white cuvee of the estate checks in as a blend of one-third each of Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne, and unfortunately, there's only going to be three barrel of the 2016 Terrasses du Larzac La Peira Blanc produced. It's a bigger, richer, more substantial wine than the Deusyls cuvee and offers loads of pineapple, white peach, flowers and hints of brioche on the nose. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, with first-rate purity and freshness, it's probably the white wine of the vintage.
