Score 86/100 · Drink 2020-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2020

The 2017 Le Moulin shows just like it did en primeur. There is terrific depth to the inky red and purplish fruit, but it is hard to get past the vegetal notes that are front and center. The 2017 needs to be enjoyed over the next few years, before those qualities overpower the wine.

Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2021-2030, Neal Martin, May 2018

The 2017 Le Moulin has an earthy, slightly sullen bouquet that demands some encouragement to open in the glass. It feels a little linear and compact. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannin, a subtle marine influence in situ but short on the finish. Not bad, but short-term drinking only.

Score 85-88/100 · Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2018

The 2017 Le Moulin is soft, fruity and easygoing, all of which make it an excellent choice for drinking over the near and medium term. Today, the 2017 is penalized by a slight vegetal note.
