The 2020 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett offers a clear, pure, precise and refined nose with bright and elegant fruit aromas as well as white tea notes. Lush and super delicate on the palate, this is a highly finessed, stimulating and saline WSU with great precision and very fine slate expression. This is an absolutely gorgeous Kabinett. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.

A very delicate fragrance hints at the fruit of pear and orange, augmented by a delicate nuance of herb garden. In terms of taste, probably the most traditional of the three Kabinetts, the gentle fruity flavour of sweet pear and zesty orange is enhanced by the merest sprinkling of exotic spice. Feather-light.
