Pale, shaded cherry red. Very decent price for a taste of proper burgundy with a dry finish but no shortage of fruit. Well bought! VGV (JR)

Blackberry fruit, dusty, nutty complexity, juicy acidity and some structure. A little rustic, but QGV Bourgogne. (TJ)

The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge comes from a single parcel within Gevrey-Chambertin. Raised in used oak, it has a simple, candied, red-cherry-scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, pretty strawberry and cranberry fruit and a brisk finish. A satisfying generic red Burgundy.
