Tasting notes
Only the second rendition of this cuvée, the 2018 Bourgogne Blanc Les Grandes Corvées is showing well from bottle, offering up notes of white flowers, pear, green apple, almonds and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, bright and layered, it's tangy and precise, with a pretty core of fruit and a mineral finish.

The 2018 Bourgogne Les Grand Corvées has a clean and precise bouquet with yellow plum and light citrus notes, a touch of almond in the background. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with hints of marzipan and toffee apple towards the generous finish. You could pop this open now if you want - I would!
The 2017 Bourgogne Les Grand Corvées has a reserved, quite austere granite-scented bouquet. The palate is lively on the entry with a touch of menthol. Quite a distinctive generic white Burgundy with what feels like a lot of dry extract toward the finish. A serious wine that deserves more contemplation than it might receive.
