Tasting notes
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is highly aromatic with blackcurrant candy, macerated purple flowers, menthol, and spice. It is open and inviting, with juicy fruit that fills the palate with fresh red and black fruits and well-managed, fine tannins. It’s a luxurious wine to cellar for 2-3 years and drink 2024-2034.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, blended with 3% Merlot and 1% Malbec, explodes with a detailed fragrance of violet, mint leaves, Morello cherries and blueberries, with touches of graphite. The palate is velvety and fresh, with concentrated, ripe fruits that continue to unfold as it glides across the palate to a long finish. Winemaker Jesse Katz and associate winemaker Hillary Sjolund note that this is the first vintage that Cabernet Sauvignon has made up so much of the blend. 2,889 cases were made.
