2020 Nuits St Georges Les Chaignots

The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Chaignots 1er Cru was the parcel that was least impacted by the dryness according to Antoine Gouges and so there was a little more juice and higher yield (25-30hl/ha). This has a pure and floral bouquet that unfolds nicely in the glass, a mixture of red and black fruit with hints of violet. The palate is sweet on the entry with fine, slightly chalky tannins. Fine cohesion here, precise on the finish, this Chaignots is showing a great deal of promise.
