The 2019 Santenay Clos des Gravières Vieilles Vignes has a perfumed bouquet that shows more delineation and poise than the 2020. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine acidity and fine-boned with ample mineralité on the finish. Excellent.

The 2019 Santenay 1er Cru Clos des Gravières unfurls in the glass with aromas of pear, orange oil and peach mingled with hints of fresh bread and gunflint. Medium to full-bodied, ample and elegantly textural, it's pretty and fine-boned, with fine depth at the core, lively acids and a long, saline finish.
