Tasting notes
Aromas of plums, loamy soil and creamy new oak introduce the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Goulots, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and elegantly enveloping wine that's deep and precise, with a seamless, youthfully reserved profile. Pure and penetrating, this is another success chez Fourrier.

This is at once more elegant and airier with its cooler array of plum, red and dark raspberry, soft floral wisps and a hint of the sauvage. The sleek, delicious and intense medium weight flavors possess excellent delineation, indeed the sneaky long finish is chiseled. This isn’t as rich as the Cherbaudes, but it’s markedly finer and more mineral-driven.
