The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village, matured in 30% new oak, has an intense bouquet of raspberry ripple and crushed strawberry scents, plus a touch of blueberry emerging with time, all nicely focused. The palate is very energetic with saturated tannins, plush red fruit and candied orange peel and quince toward the finish. This should be gorgeous once in bottle.

About the producer
Domaine Georges Noëllat, based in the village of Vosne-Romanée is today run by Maxime Cheurlin. Cheurlin took over the domaine in 2010 – aged just 20 – and has since transformed its reputation as one of the finest Burgundy wine producers.
