The 2020 Siaurac has a well-defined and focused bouquet. The oak is neatly folded in, with light truffle scents percolating through the dark berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, quite Left Bank in style thanks to the 21% Cabernet Franc, very peppery with a lively and quite compelling finish. Look out for this.
The 2020 Siaurac is a racy, explosive wine that shows the more exuberant side of the vintage. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, kirsch, mocha and new leather race out of the glass. This exuberant Lalande de Pomerol is captivating in its beauty and sheer allure, but it is very much on the more opulent side of things.
Beautiful, fresh, almost crunchy fruits of black cherry and mulberries emerge from the 2020 Château Siaurac, and it’s medium-bodied on the palate, with bright acidity and a balanced, clean, layered style that has lots to love.
