Tasting notes
Medium-bodied, soft, fresh, fruity and sweet, with a nice layer of sweet, ripe, savory red fruits on the mid-palate and in the creamy, fruity, chalky finish. Drink from 2023-2034.

Aromas of black cherries and blackberries with dark chocolate, nut shell and spices. Medium-bodied with firm tannins and a crunchy fruit character. Polished finish. Drink now.
Powerful tannins, closed down and putting a strong emphasis on slate and pencil lead. Layers of chocolate arrive mid palate, and this is chewy and solid. Ripe fruits are getting a little lost along the way but this will soften often ageing and has a ton of potential.
I loved the nose on the 2020 Château Clauzet, which is clean, ripe, and just pure Saint-Estèphe darker, earthy blue fruits, flowers, cedar pencil, and sappy herbs. This carries to a medium-bodied 2020 with notable purity, good mid-palate depth, and ripe tannins, all making for a solid, possibly outstanding wine that will have 15 years of prime drinking.
