2014 Ysabel Pinot Noir

The 2014 Pinot Noir Ysabel Van der Kamp Vineyard is bright, perfumed and lifted, with expressive red fruit and floral notes. Sweet red cherry, hard candy, game, orange peel, mint and crushed flowers are nicely delineated in this attractive, mid-weight Pinot. The 25% whole clusters are well-integrated. Even so, this is decidedly rustic relative to the level Hyde de Villaine achieves with their top wines.
