2019 Rosso di Montalcino

This is a new wine from Riccardo Talenti. A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Petit Verdot made simply with a brief one year in oak, the 2019 Rosso Talenti is a medium-bodied red with generous concentration and thick aromas of dark cherry, plum and mild spice. The wine shows an earthy quality as well, with leather and cedarwood. You get good value in this 5,000-bottle release.
