Score 88/100 · Drink 2014-2017, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Feb 2014
A quality white that’s still going strong, the 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is 55% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 10% Roussanne, 10% Bourboulenc and 5% other permitted varieties that was aged all in stainless steel. Medium-bodied, with bright acidity and a clean, focused palate, it offers attractive lemon curd, mineral and almond paste on the nose. Drink it over the coming couple of years.
