Tasting notes
Pale, green-hued yellow. Incisive aromas of nectarine, orange zest, violet and smoky minerals open up slowly with air. Silky and sharply delineated on the palate, offering vibrant citrus and pit fruit flavors that deepen on the back half. The floral fruit note repeats emphatically on the penetrating finish, which lingers with superb tenacity.

A dense and creamy white with cooked-mango and vanilla aromas and flavors. Full and flavorful with lots of flavor and phenolic structure. Drink or hold.
About the producer

The Kirk family’s winery was one of the first to put Murrumbateman Shiraz on the fine wine map. Founded in 1971, Clonakilla pioneered this cool-climate region and today the estate produces some of the finest Shiraz in Australia and the world, inspired by the styles of the Northern Rhône.
