2018 Spatburgunder JS

Predominantly from French clones but also Ritter clones, the 2018 Spätburgunder JS is predominantly from Dernau, while the rest of the wines are all from unclassified vineyards between Rech and Bad Neuenahr. The nose opens with pure and refreshing cherry aromas. On the palate, this is a pure, fresh, tight and nervy, tensioned and persistent Pinot with good intensity and length. Tasted in August 2020.
