Score 88/100 · Drink 2022-2038, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2021
Aromas of raspberries, cherries, peonies and orange rind introduce the 2018 Bourgogne Rouge, a medium-bodied, pretty and charming wine that's round and open, built around powdery tannins. Somewhat reminiscent of the domaine's 2015 rendition, it's an elegant interpretation of the vintage.

About the producer

Domaine Michel Gaunoux
Domaine Michel Gaunoux is today run by Michel’s grandchildren, Anne and Alexandre, with a guiding hand from their mother. Everything here is extremely traditional, and the family has been quietly making rich, complex and age-worthy Pommard and Corton for over half a century.
