Score 94/100 · Drink 2028-2055, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2021
Aromas of red berries, plums and orange rind, framed by a deft touch of new oak, preface Gaunoux's 2018 Corton-Renardes Grand Cru, a medium to full-bodied, firmer, more austere wine than the suave Grands Epenots or sumptuous Rugiens. Fine-boned but tightly wound, it's a penetrating, mineral wine with a distinctive profile of its own in the portfolio.

About the producer

Domaine Michel Gaunoux
Domaine Michel Gaunoux is today run by Michel’s grandchildren, Anne and Alexandre, with a guiding hand from their mother. Everything here is extremely traditional, and the family has been quietly making rich, complex and age-worthy Pommard and Corton for over half a century.
