Tasting notes
Lush, rich and generous on the nose, the 2016 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a dense core of blackberry, cassis and dark plum. The wine has dense "full throttle" nose with complex oak tones layered throughout with velvety purple flowers, mocha and cocoa notes. On the palate, the wine is tight and firm, having the breadth and depth of fine wine, showing structured layers of blackberry, boysenberry and juicy dark plum. Full-bodied with flavorful oak, mocha and lush fruit tones, the wine lingers with supple tannins, on the long generous finish. Barely 3,000 bottles were made from Cabernet that spent 22 months in French oak, half being brand-new. Give this one sometime in the cellar. Your patience will be rewarded.
