Opaque violet color. An expansive, complex bouquet evokes fresh black/blue fruits, violet, smoked meat and cracked pepper. Shows very good depth as well as energy on the palate, offering sappy, appealingly sweet cherry, blueberry and floral pastille flavors that take on spice and woodsmoke nuances with air. Shows excellent clarity and spicy cut on the impressively long, gently tannic finish, which leaves hints of candied violet and allspice behind. (all whole clusters)
