Tasting notes
65% Sémillon, 35% Sauvignon Blanc. Pale to mid gold. Deep aroma of apricots and almond paste. Mouth-filling sweetness yet with a perfectly judged slight grip of dryness in the texture. Balance between sweetness and acidity is very good. Long, viscous and indulgent. (JH)

The 2019 Guiraud has a touch of kerosene on the nose, well-defined, although the oak needs more time to fully integrate. The palate is well-balanced with orange zest, mandarin, grapefruit and apricot. Pretty and flattering, it requires more botrytization towards the finish. Will time imbue it with more personality? Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting.
RS 120 g/l . Tasted blind. Paler than its peers. A little stodgy and brutal. Much more acid and less sugar than most. Almost tart! (JR)
